There are times in my very adult world of career, parenting and home ownership when I just have to let loose. A time to get in touch with my inner child and see that she gets adequate play time. Painting commission work and new pieces is quite rewarding, but there is still a “work” element to it. Listing and marketing my art is definitely a full-time job! But there is silliness when I allow it. Letting go! It’s like being a kid again with big smiles and jumbo crayons. Yes, I still finger paint too! Whether you are an artist or not, it is good to go back in time for awhile…..When was the last time you played marbles?

I totally agree, and I know I am a happier person when I take the time to enjoy the simple things in life and have a little bit of child-like fun. I think your image captures that sentiment perfectly!
Thank you Priya! Yes…fun is a necessity in life!
Love it! Really cute! I can see that as a book cover for a “how to learn to paint” childern’s book!
She has a cute face. I also love to do it. I must say she can brought a smile on anyone’s face.
I am delighted you have enjoyed my blogs Pratyasha!
So cute! I’m happy to hear you can enjoy and let loose once in awhile. I loved the comment about the marbles, my husband brought home a bunch of marbles a few years ago, I swear he was a kid again!
Oh yeah! You gotta play…marbles are cool!
