I first got interested in Yoga about 15 years ago when I was suffering from vertigo as a result of postpartum thyroiditis.  It was pretty bad and the medical community had nothing to offer me other than physical therapy to recover my balance. Rather than spend an hour a week in a clinical setting, I chose yoga.  It was very challenging at first because I fell a lot, but a wonderful teacher at The Treehouse Yogo Studio was patient and kind.  She helped me reposition myself when I faltered. After awhile, I got much better at it.  Then it became second nature as the moves flowed fluidly through my body.  The vertigo no longer had control.  I still practice some of the postures I learned every day.  It is better than any medicine.

In this piece titled “Om – Red Meditation” I see a beautiful princess in the most basic yoga meditation pose.  I also see angels and guardians and a bit of Buddha.  I hope you enjoy her too:

Also today as part of my Looking Glass Series, I offer you “Soul Symphony” which is a piece to revive the senses and make you “feel” the vibration of the Universe.  Enjoy!
