I have really been enjoying creating my new series “The Looking Glass”. It is so fun and interesting to see what appears when I fuse my original paintings together. With this piece the entire image formed a dog. I do see a smiling frog in the center of his forehead and two horses flanking his noggin, but I just found a dog. Your dog? It looks like a Universal Dog to me. It could be any breed and any size. I love the semi-abstract nature of this painting. I have found many things in these works, but I really seem to have a knack for finding dogs. I found this one below in Mastiff Rescue of Florida recently:

Thank you so much Margaret…I really appreciate the feature. 🙂 This piece was painted on translucent Yupo…two separate images…which were then combined and scanned as one so the image behind came through in a ghostly fashion…then cropped and fused….it was a of fun to create!
