I have always had a fascination with light and shadow. In my latest work titled “Violet Blue” I have used aqua as light and violet blues as shadow to create depth and dimension. It has a fluidity as well that evokes a sense of watery movement. Sit back for a moment and relax your eyes and just let your vision get absorbed into the light….feel the calm energy that fills your mind….

The vibrant blue and the way you’ve blended them to flow throughout the canvas is excellent, Sharon. I might be feeling blue after seeing your artwork today, but it’s a good blue! 🙂
