Over the years I have experimented with a variety of styles. One of the greatest things about being an artist is that I have no boundaries for creative expression. I can create something different every day! I have developed a few signature styles in my art that I have not seen anyone successfully copy (it’s hard to copy someone else’s vision). People recognize my Labor of Love, Stone Rock’d, Pure Water and Black Magic the most. But this style you see here is one of my favorites. I call it “Natural Formations”.
My art often evolves as I am creating and it is as much a delight to me to see what happens as I move paint and water around as it is to my collectors to view it. Deep Visions requires a lot of paint that is then sprayed and moved around with water. Adding expensive inference paints to the mix gives a opulence that is just stunning. This style is reminiscent of coral reef…deep sea…underwater treasures.
I paint commission paintings, but no two could ever be exactly alike and that is what makes them so special. 🙂
I am offering one similar to the one posted here for 50% right now. I rarely have sales on these, but I am itching to do more! See it here:

They are indeed, deep and beautiful.
And you should know Kevan. 🙂
Amazing… congratulations…
Thank you Saribelle!
This is one of my favorites!
I am glad you like it Sally!
Stunning!
Thanks so much! Looks even better in person. I cannot capture the inference with the camera.
Wow! I wish I had more space!
Thanks Debi….I say that all of the time and still buy art from other artists….LOL
My cup runneth over, Sharon! My husband’s mother and my own mother are both water color artists and their work is covering our walls! Every once in a while I get a wild hair and buy something but then…..where to put it? LOL! I love the bright colors you use – so different from the softness of watercolors. I appreciate both styles, but adore the bold!
It’s not a bad problem to have. 🙂 My MIL is an established oil painter and we are very fortunate to have 3 of her originals. My grandmother was an artist. And of course my daughter’s art work is all over my home as well. Plus I collect from artist’s all over the World! I’ve started “rotating” the artwork. I store some of it and then bring it out every 6 months and put some away. It’s like a new art gallery twice a year. 🙂
What a great idea! Rotating artwork! You, my dear, are a genius.
ha ha…I’ve been called worse. 😉
Ha!
Hay there Sharon … this is coming your way from D at Pairodox Farm … I wanted to thank you very, very, much for the reblog of the Crocus photo at B.E.S.T. Arts Gallery. I hope it will drive a bit of traffic. I’ve been blogging for a couple of years now and haven’t had lots of activity … so any little bit helps. Thanks very, very much. D
You are more than welcome. 🙂
Beautiful, wonderful work Sharon!!
Thank you Douglas!
