Some of you might have noticed that I have not blogged about any new work lately and that I have been bringing back some older blogs that never got much attention. The reason for both are two-fold. First of all I am working on a bunch of new Stone Rock’d tropical fish for a HUGE hotel project in Key West, FL. And secondly, when I first started my blog, I blogged about my most popular paintings at the time. But with only 2 followers, no one ever saw them. So I am giving all of my newest followers a chance to see these works too.
The piece above is titled “Tropical Fish 12” and is one of the many I have created that I am totally satisfied with. I will be submitting it to the design firm with a few others in a few days. I already know that the client loves my first piece as it has been paid for and is in production. I am really excited about this project and know that they will love more of my work. So busy I stay….
Swim along and see more below.

I absolutely love this!
Thanks Douglas….I hope Hampton Inn does too!
How could they not! You’re are the best Sharon!
awwww…shucks…LOL
Very beautiful,many compliments
Thank you so much Stefano!
I can’t imagine a time you only had two followers (though I see to be in that position!) especially when you were posting art like this. Congratulations on your hotel project!! How fabulous is that!! Shared.
Thank you Lianne….when I wrote my first blog I just had my husbands two accounts as followers…LOL Thanks for stopping by!
Beautiful work Sharon.
I had a queen angel for quite a while when I had my tropical fish store and actually made a pet out of it. Saltwater tropical fish are more responsive to humans and actually can learn to recognize different people (Really!)
Thank you Lance! That’s really cool! I am sure you being the hand that fed helped. 😉
I too have brought back a couple of poems posted when my blog was new last August. I am from Miami and go to the keys often,
perhaps I will see your work there! Fantastic job.
Nothing wrong with bringing up good work again. 🙂 Give them a year or so to get it all up and running. 🙂 I plan to go too!
excellent. 🙂
Hi – this is amazing – I’d be really interested to know (broadly) how you made it if you don’t mind sharing.., I certainly don’t know how to make a sculpture look like that!
Thank you so much! This piece is part of my trademark protected Stone Rock’d Art series. There are many layers to this work. All start with a painting or photograph that are manipulated digitally until I am satisfied. Then I overlay my copyright protected Stone Rock’d pattern which is from my copyright protected Labor of Love series that I started 11 years ago. They actually take longer than most of my acrylic paintings to create!
Thank you – That’s very inspiring, I didn’t even realise it was 2D!
I always encourage other artists to experiment with their past works to see if they can give them “new life”…..I am so glad I have done this because a lot of my income now comes from these reincarnated pieces. 🙂
That’s good advice, I have lots on my hard drive which weren’t quite good enough to share.. maybe with a bit of enhancement they would be!
