Millions of seconds pass unnoticed
Boring and unremarkable
Life’s time clock
But one second can change everything
Just one
And everything is different
Everything
A birth
A death
An accident
A surprise
Just that one moment
Creates a cascade of transformation
Each second
Can be
An ordinary miracle.

Sharon…so true. One reason it is so important to be in every moment. Many lives have been changed in an instant…probably one that they were not even present for.
Very true….and who knows what we “miss” by missing those moments….
It makes you want to be in a perpetual state of awareness…oh…I guess that is what we are striving for….? or should be! Thanks again for a great post…great reminder 🙂
Always my pleasure. 🙂

I definitely believe our emotions control a great part of our health. For good or ill. Thanks for sharing that video.
Yes!
Lovely image! I think about this a lot. Everything can change in a moment but often we’re not even really “there” in the present moment. I go for long hikes in the woods and my thoughts are all over the place instead of really taking in anything with my senses. I try to drag my mind back to the present moment all the time and it works for a bit and then off it goes again, ricocheting around. I have to remind myself that every second can be an ordinary miracle. Have you read The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle?
It’s the same for me Peggy…..but I work toward it as much as I can….
Yes, it takes constant practice, doesn’t it?
