There is no fear in love. Perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. Love has to do with acceptance and protection. This is not something I understood growing up…..I had to learn what healthy love meant. Once I did…..my whole world just opened up.
This piece of art started as an acrylic abstract on Yupo. Many months later I saw a cliff in the painting and the idea of a tree came to me which then evolved into a symbol for true love. It is a mixed media piece that combines three elements (background, tree and heart) created separately and then beautifully married on the computer. The results are very satisfying to me.

I am so glad. 🙂 Thank you…
Hi Sharon…the results are very satisfying to me as well!! Just beautiful! Isn’t it amazing how we can add to pieces at different times and it comes out just like our lives….everything was meant to be…and when put together a perfect marriage of time. Blessitude
I love re-purposing my artwork! It’s greener for the environment and fun too. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by Lorrie.

Thank you so much!
Beautiful.
Thank you so very much!
Hi Sharon, I love your blog, and your paints, if i lived in the USA, i would certainly buy some, but not all the way from South Africa. I like your use of colour and colours evolving over each other, and some spaces for contemplation. Thanks for following and liking my blog. I have worked quite closely with artists out here, creating idea strings, where either I interpret a painting with a poem and then they they reinterpret my poem (or the other way round), some of these strings have gone on for several years, and have become exhibitions. They are great fun, and drive incredible creativity.
Hi Charles….Thank you for your thoughtful words and appreciation o f my work. Your interpretive strings do sound fun! I’ve done some collaboration with other artists off and on. If you Google “Down The Rabbit Hole” plus my name you will find my favorite…..A Canadian artist named Geraldine Garcia sent me a large envelop stuffed with various unrelated images….textures and trinkets and I was to make a mixed media out of her cornucopia of stuff. I did the same for her…..collected an assortment of goodies for her to create with….I’ve done this same process 6 times with different artists. Fun!
yes it is greatly exiting. will try and Google Down the rabbit hole, and see. Charles.
