I just cannot stop the creative process. Years ago, I was always a little sad when I finished a painting, sold it and sent it off to it’s new home. It meant that it was over. My baby had grown up and moved away. But with today’s digital technology, I can keep creating long after the initial painting is finished. My work lives on in other forms. How cool is that!
I can scan gigantic files of my work and crop out abstracts like this:
Or I can combine the crops and create mirror image work like this one:
It’s all so magical to me. π And I will not stop!

Oh, I love your art! I especially love the last one, it looks like a cosmic butterfly with tiny galaxies in its wings, and the face looks like an oceanic tree-God expanding eternally into space π
And I love to hear what people “see” in my art! I am looking and I see the Tree God too! π
Hihi! π π That is the best part of abstract art! The viewer becomes the creater too! Creating art in art in their imagination! π
Absolutely!

Gorgeous work!
Thank you Mark…A real compliment coming from you!
My pleasure – have a great day
Am I the only one who thought a touch of Van Gogh’s shadow falling here? Keep it up.
Since Van Gogh is famous for the impressionist style, he will always get a little credit. π This came straight from my mind, so perhaps he haunts it a tiny bit….LOL I’ve done big rectangles of color too…..Rothko must be hiding in there a bit too. Thanks for stopping by Rudy!
Love these colors! So vibrant and full of life and birthing a creative impulse in me.
Awesome Laura! Keep the creativity going….
Congratulations Sharon, you are a true ambassador to other artists!
