What is hope? The dictionary tell us that hope is an optimistic attitude of mind based on an expectation of positive outcomes related to events and circumstances in one’s life or the world at large. Yes, I’ve got some. I have hope for an America where all citizens are equal. I have hope for my health to continue to improve. I have hope for my autistic daughter, that she will continue to grow and find her way in the World. I have hope that my marriage will stay strong and filled with love all the way until the end. I have hope that my friends will find peace in their lives. I could go on…
Do you have hope?

Most of the time I have hope and a positive outlook on life. Sometimes, though, my beliefs get shaken to their core. This has occurred recently. It causes me to have to climb back up out of a hole where I refuse to stay.
I think we all get in the hole sometimes….The important thing is you have climbed back up. 🙂
Love the use of colour and imagery…
I have hope too Sharon…I’m not sure if you meant this in your photo or if it’s my own personal viewpoint but I see a religious expression with the cross. I love this one a lot. 🙂
Thanks Laura….often when I paint I have no intention…it’s intuitive. I name my work afterward when I look at what I’ve created. I saw the cross as well and that’s why I named it Hope. 🙂
Ahh I’m glad the interpretation came though. I love that your painting is intuitive. What a great talent!
All the time!
I know you do!
