Hey Sharon! Did you ever post a blog about your technique? I am intrigued by these paintings and your style. It looks like finger painting on back lit glass and then folded in half. I am absolutely stumped! Not that you should reveal all your secrets, but I would love to see one in progress… ??
Hi Skye….I do not post my techniques. Too many try to copy me as it is and I am trying to make a living with what I do. So I prefer to not just “give it away”. If someone figures it out, so be it. But I try to keep trying new things so that I can stay ahead of the copycats. Maybe when I retire, I will “bare all”. 😉
Absolutely! No need to give it away, I would not want that in the least! But could you share the medium? Or the surface? Are these painted on glass? I know the prints aren’t, of course. But they are SO vivid and amazing. I don’t want to feed the cats, just curious myself. Will not be hurt if you say, sorry, pal, no soap!
There’s nothing like them… gorgeous color!
Thank you so much…my point exactly…”nothing like them”. 🙂 I always put my medium and ground on my listings. These are acrylic paint and Yupo. 🙂 I love Yupo!!
I’ve never heard of Yupo. But after checking out their site, I see why you love it so! Looks like it really takes to your work beautifully.
Oh you’ve got to try it! It’s so much fun. 🙂
Absolutely beautiful… Thanks for sharing.
Best wishes, Aquileana 😛
Always a pleasure! Thank you!
