Nice. The colors and expression are wonderful. We have hoot owls that sit in the cottonwood trees and hoot at each other all night. I went out to irrigate at 2:00 am this morning and at one point I was in the center of a triangle of 3 owls hooting. It was like owls hooting in 3D stereo.
That sounds so cool! We do get owls here sometimes because we are close to the river…but I miss the country where I grew up….we heard them all of the time. 🙂

Thank you! I am glad you love my work. And I agree, their calls are seductive….mournful and yes, elegant. Where I live now, we only hear them once in awhile, but when I was a kid, we heard them every night…
Oh, and there are several that live in the trees across the creek. I love listening to them call to one another at night…. so mournful, and yet so elegant.
