There are times in my very adult world of career, parenting and home ownership when I just have to let loose. A time to get in touch with my inner child and see that she gets adequate play time. Painting commission work and new pieces is quite rewarding, but there is still a “work” element to it. Listing and marketing my art is definitely a full-time job! But there is silliness when I allow it. Letting go! It’s like being a kid again with big smiles and jumbo crayons. Yes, I still finger paint too! Whether you are an artist or not, it is good to go back in time for awhile…..When was the last time you played marbles?

Child’s Play by Sharon Cummings #fridakahlo
Beautiful work, Sharon. You amaze me with the different directions that you go with your art. With regards to ‘play time’ my faith teaches me everything in moderation. The more I practice it, the more I seem to feel ‘balanced’ in life. Thanks for the good reminder as I don’t think about it as much while doing it.
My pleasure! Been playin in the rain. 🙂
Have fun!! 🙂 I must remember to let go and play too!
Do it! You won’t regret it. 🙂
Cute! 🙂
Thank you!

Great reflection Sharon! Gosh, it was long time ago I played marbles, all I can remember I was an awful player 😀
ha ha..I probably spent more time looking at them than playing. 😉
