Hi Sharon, I love this painting, to me it is a nature painting, when i look up a the mountains that surround me here in Cape town, I see the interesting weave of the rock strata, some straight, some with bends and upliftment, I can imagine if this were volcanic rock just being laid by a live volcano and still burning hot, would look very much like this. So to me it is a bit like looking at one of those huge great Rothko paintings, where nature is abstracted a,most into nothingness, but is a great meditation. Thanks for blogging it, best wishes and blessings, Charles.
Hi Charles….Thank you so much for taking the time to really “look” at my art today. I appreciate it! Love your interpretation. 🙂
Pleasure, really loved it, in the past I would have tried to buy it, but no longer as my wife hates this type of art unfortunately. Charles 🙂
A real shame…I love all kinds of art! My home is filled with such variety…When I go to shows, I always buy a little something from an artist. 🙂
I used to go several times to art shows, write some poems about what i saw, and then buy one, and pay it off during the next six months. Enjoyed that a lot, and miss doing that. Best wishes and blessings, Charles.
