The first picture is a crop and modified version of the second which I decided to list as a print that can be made as large as 60 inches long!

The full image was created by me in 1993 while I was in college working on my art degree.  I used colored pencils and markers to get the textures and colors that you see.  My Mom actually owns the original, so I had to scan my copy.

Sometimes it is gold, but more often it is a feeling, a scent or a delicious juicy piece of fruit.  My “Golden Pear” was born about 10 years ago and it still remains one of my all time best selling art pieces.  The original painting was snapped up very quickly and since then I have painted numerous commissions in many sizes and have sold thousands of prints.  Fine Art America liked my yellow pear so much that they gave it a permanent feature on their Homepage in TWO places.  More than just fruit, this piece is perfect for a gourmet kitchen, country kitchen, elegant dinning room, lover’s bedroom or in any room where beauty is desired.  Pears are a classic and this piece is sure to continue to stand the test of time as trends come and go.  Timeless art….
