It is known that energy can neither be created nor destroyed. So you cannot really have MORE energy, but you can have DIFFERENT energy.
All of life is made up of energy from the chair you are sitting on to the thoughts that move through your mind. Art is the transformation of creative energy within the artist into a physical form which might be a painting, a poem, sculpture or other medium. In my series “Transforming Energy” I wish to convey “feelings” far beyond visual beauty. I am creating “Holistic” art that is pleasing to the eyes but can also move and touch the soul. The shades and forms are deliberately soft and subtle. You will not find any hard edges or representational imagery. The lines are blurred intentionally to represent the totality of life. There is a circular motif in these works which is both soothing and tranquil.
Pure colors blended into soft waves of light and energy.
In the coming weeks I will be introducing new pieces from this series each day. Sometimes I will have something to say about them. Perhaps a quote or poem. Or I may say nothing at all and let you, the viewer, decide what can be “felt” within the colors.

Ever had a moment when you realize that all of the good you have been dreaming of just starts to happen to you? When you find yourself surrounded by positive and life affirming people? New friends show up in your life that bring you happiness and good times? Your career just takes off in an upward direction with no slowing down in sight? Where your family life is a comfort, support and joy to be in? Where you feel at your physical best? I am sooooo there!! It has not happened by accident and it certainly was not an overnight. I’ve have had to make some tough decisions in the past year with regard to certain friendships that had to go. Even some family members had to be removed for my emotional well being. I have also had to work really hard at my business to see the results I believed I could achieve. I have had some therapy with some loved ones to work out long standing issues. And I have made some changes to my diet and lifestyle. The key word here is CHANGE….The things around me weren’t changing on their own…I had to actually do something! Those “somethings” have been some of the hardest things I have had to do. But now that I have made the necessary adjustments to my life, I am on FIRE!!

Yes indeed…..I am on fire!! I visualized my dreams….I spoke of them as if they were already happening. I believed. And now I have exceeded them! So in celebration I have digitally remastered one of my most popular pieces. “Hearts On Fire”. It has always been one of my favorites from my work. The colors in this painting really “click” with me and the sizzling fire just gets me happy! It used to only be available as a very small print, but now you can SET YOUR WALLS ON FIRE very large! This piece intrigued me from the moment I fused the acrylic images together. I saw a sleeping moose and a cow with her eyes closed immediately. But I struggled for a name and I was stuck. I posted the image on my Facebook fan page to see what others might see in the work. The response was phenomenal! So many got involved and had ideas and saw things I never considered. Ultimately one of my fans saw a beast at the top and a beauty beneath and once I saw those images, that made the title he chose perfect….”Beauty And The Beast”…..so much to see.
