“Lap Of Luxury”
Prismacolor Pencils/Pantone Markers
Sharon Bratcher Cummings
1993
The first picture is a crop and modified version of the second which I decided to list as a print that can be made as large as 60 inches long!
The full image was created by me in 1993 while I was in college working on my art degree. Â I used colored pencils and markers to get the textures and colors that you see. Â My Mom actually owns the original, so I had to scan my copy.

I like this piece a lot.  It does not mean it will be a best seller, but it makes me feel happy. One might think that I like all of my work, but that would be false.  I enjoy everything I create while I am producing it.  I relish the creative process!  But some of my paintings are just not for me.  Art is personal and since I am so prolific it gives me a lot to choose from for my personal tastes.  I keep some originals for myself and hang them on my own walls.  I have a few regret sales out there, but I probably couldn’t afford to buy them back. 😉  That is what I love so much about my ability to create large prints now.  I can keep an original and the World can still share in the love.
