When I read this this morning, it actually made me cry – and I don’t even know you or your amazing daughter! My son is also an Aspie (4th grade), and his success is a constant worry. To see how well another has done gives me hope. Thanks for sharing your story and positive attitude! (I’m an artist as well, so perhaps a kindred spirit.) 😉 Good luck!
Kindred indeed! I remember 4th & 5th grade….we had some trying times, but there is indeed hope for success! Her Senior year has been our first year without any calls from the Principal or one of her teachers. It took her a lot longer to adjust to high school, but she did. 🙂 And she has been accepted to USF!
