We often think of “peace” as a calm environment and gentle thoughts, but I believe it can also be a strong vibrant energy. I feel the most peaceful at the beach with the churning waves, rushing currents, seagulls calling and children playing. I am completely calm and relaxed there, but the scene is so very vivid and kinetic.
I have a friend that finds total peace by taking long drives at night. His stressful thoughts evaporate into the distant lights and the darkness comforts him. The gentle hum of his engine and the passing cars are relaxing.
Where do you find your Peace?
Introducing my latest piece from my Transforming Energy series. “Vivid Peace”, like all of the work in this set, has been transformed from a previous painting into an entirely new piece of art. Enjoy!

I have never really thought about it, but now that you mention it, one of my favorite places to find peace is at the beach. It has a lulling quality. Love the art. 🙂
Perfect beach weather is upon us in Florida in the next 5 days…I plan on going Friday and Saturday. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by and enjoying my work!
Oh I am so Jealous. The Carolinas are far from beach ready. Enjoy!

You will be assimilated….LOL
Wonderful piece, Sharon. It is very vivid, which I love.
Thank you Kerry!
Love that first paragraph – I feel absolutely the same way at the beach…even more peaceful when the day is gray and stormy for some reason. It’s the power and energy of the sea that calms me and takes me out of myself for a time. Just love this so much!! Shared.
Sunny….stormy…I agree, it’s all so very calming. Thanks for stopping by Lianne!
Wonderful piece about Peace.
I find peace in many different ways. Sometimes music, sometimes vigorous exercise, sometimes with gin and tonic.
Great post Sharon.
Hey there Lance! Nice to see you. 🙂 Yes we all find peace in our own way….I wish I could do a gin and tonic…even a small amount of alcohol puts me into a sleepy coma….maybe that is the ultimate peace…LOL
